Good value printer but some colour issues... - This is good value printer. Yes, it is a big printer but you expect that as its a scanner and copier too. The installment software is very good and clear so you are up and running in no time at all. The prints are produced quickly and are very crisp on regular paper (i have not tried to do photoprint paper versions yet.) but i have one minor gripe so far on the print quality: the definition within dark or shadowed areas is not good. The picture on the monitor shows a good range of colours and visible shapes within the shadows but when you print, the pictures have just dark shadows and all the subtlety in the photo image is lost. This is with the print quality on standard and the color/intensity on auto so there might be the facility to change it, i ll look into it. On the whole a good value printer and mostly good quality too.

Temperamental machine - I had my printer for about 6 months. Haven t used it much, and it did the job.. not as good as I expected though as it is quite slow and takes a while to start printing. However, the most problematic issue has been the ink. For the last couple of months, it has been playing up. Initially I had to waste half a tank as it said it was empy (when in reality you could see half of the ink inside of it). Later on, with a new geniune CANON tank, although it did recognise it as full, it wouldn t print in black. I ve tried pretty much everything from another tank to changing settings, cleaning and aligning nozzles, etc. Nothing worked. Fortunately, it was still waranteed so I happily sent it back! The reviews are good, but they are all while the printer is new. I would buy another Canon, but I would spend a bit more money to get a faster and better quality one.

Bluetooth - Great printer, and you can connect a very cheap (about £10.00) Bluetooth adapter to it and have wireless printing from your laptop

I m happy! - I use this printer at work for my own use and love it, simple to use and quick, had it running for 2 month now and know it inside out. Thinking of buying it for home use as well now.

Very good printer - The first printer I received had a fault but it was collected free the next day(despite my being unable to print the authorised return label)& a replacement arrived quickly. It was easy to set up, simple to use - either with computer or stand alone - and so quiet after my Epson printer. Also - unlike Epson - the heads do not need constant cleaning. The photos are good quality too - equal to those from high street photo services.
