Excellent value for money - a quality printer - My second Canon printer, and one that is in heavy use due to my job as an adult education tutor. The printer was easy to install and has operated for over 6 months with no problems. The only slight annoyances are that a)the paper rest drops down readily unless held back by a cable looped round one corner, b) the on-off button and the restart button are right next to each other and almost invisible, being black-on-black and c) like my last Canon, if a sheet of paper doesn t drop clear on printing, the rollers will snatch it back up as they rewind and inevitably crease it!Those minor glitches aside, this is a product I would recommend. It is stylish and sturdy with a fast print rate in both black and colour. Replacement cartridges are now easy to obtain, including lower priced compatibles. The cartridges have an integral print head, meaning that this printer should carry on printing clearly for many years yet.
