NOT A BAD PRINTER AT ALL - I THINK THIS IS QUITE A GOOD ALL ROUND PRINTER IT SEEMS TO PRINT QUITE HIGH QUALITY PRINT OUTS. I ONLY REALLY WANTED TO BUY PRINTER FOR PRINTING OFF E-MAILS AND RECEIPTS FOR ANYTHING I ORDER ON-LINE SO IT S EXACTLY WHAT I WANTED
cheap and nasty product that simply does not work! - This printer is a false economy. It is so cheaply made that it just doesn t work properly. The slider in the paper tray is so flimsy it bends when you move it. If you put more than 10 sheets of paper in the tray, the printer fails to pick up the sheets and stalls. If you feed in the paper 5-8 sheets at a time it picks them up, but even then it misaligns 1 sheet out of 5, resulting in a poor printout. I tried it with brand new paper so that was not the problem, it is simply that the feeder tray/mechanism is just so cheaply made. Also, assuming you are willing to feed the paper in by hand, it still takes forever to print anything. It took over 20 minutes to print a 16 page PDF. It does not include a USB cable, so does not work out of the box. Finally, to add insult to injury, When you install the printer software, it puts a large blue EPSON logo in the right hand corner of every window you open on your PC. How irritating! I really don t want to see their logo everywhere it just keeps reminding me of their rubbish product!Cheap, nasty and a total waste of time and money.
does exactly what it says on the tin - i bought this printer for two reasons- 1, the price and 2 the fact its epson. im not what you would call a heavy printer i only do random things like print off email confirmations, colouring in sheets for the kids ect.i found it very easy to set up when it arrived- i even put in the cartridges all by myself lol. the quality of one photo i printed wasnt amazing but still good, basicly what im trying to say is if you just want a family printer/copier/scanner then i think this is brilliant. if you want excellent quality then maybe you should save up a bit more money.but its just what i needed
