I m pleased with it so far - I bought a ESP-3 a few months ago and I m pleased with it so far. It s not the best all-in-one printer, but I had so much hassle with an Epson DX (with it s stupid chipped ink cartridges not recognising on the printer) I bought this as it s cheap to buy, cheap to run and there was no real negative reviews to it.Everything about the ESP-3 is average and with the low price and low ink price, so I give it 4 stars rather then 3.
A replacement - I bought this printer to replace an ageing [3years+] canon pixma ip 4000, whilst I was rather fond of the canon, it was difficult to clean properly, even with cleaner cartridges. In all likelihood the print head was on it s last legs, this may have been due to using compatible inks instead of OEM products. The Kodak inks are much more realistically priced, no need to go for compatible inks, this may lengthen the life of the printer, time will tell. I have also conducted an A4 photograph comparison test using the same paper, the kodak print was sharper, better defined.Considering the price, one gets a printer, scanner & copier, good value
AVOID LIKE THE PLAGUE - I have to disagree with the other reviewers.I have had nothing but trouble with this printer since i bought it.It jams up on a regular basis and if paper gets torn it is almost impossible to remove. It is quiet slow in printing and currently i can t print at all as i m getting bands across the printouts even though i have cleaned the printheads twice and done all the other maintenance tasks. I have only used the printer a handful of times and it is never moved so can t see why it has all these problems.I ve always used Epson in the past and i cetainly will never buy Kodak again
kodak 3 printer - Just bought kodak 3 inkjet printer, brill, always went for HP priners, kodak chear cheerful great photos good price cheap ink.
Good Buy - This multi functional printer was a fantastic buy ! It was easy to install, easy to navigate, great price and good on the printing side. I was always struck on Canon but decided to give this a try and I am pleased that I did.A complex printer without the complex problems a real credit to Kodac. The panel is basic and easy yet the internal abilities that this produces is amazing. Whilst not photoshop standard it is likely to be the closest to it as part of a system all in one. It contains a reader slot of nearly all cards including XD which is not average but suits me fine, has a camera socket but the best bit is the customer support which is 100 per cent I called them through a misread by myself and they are spot on.Adopts photos from files easily, preset balance is a plus and can even produce a date and watermark on the photos. Very cheap ink single and combo packs. £15.00Would certainly recommend this as a good all round printer that does not tax the brain, skills or pocket .. 100 per cent !!
